Graphic Novel Trading Post

How it works:

1. Go to our graphic novel trade-in list or manga trade-in list to see what titles we generally accept and how much we are currently paying. Please note that we offer trade-in (store) credit only - we do not give you cash!
2. If you have titles not on our "accepted" list, feel free to contact us, as we may still take the books depending on our needs.
2. Only books in good (like new) condition will be accepted for trade-in. By like-new condition we mean no tears, creases, scratches, marks or stains on the covers or insides. Minor wear is acceptable (for example, slight yellowing of pages) - please contact us if you have any questions BEFORE shipping books.
3. 3. Make a list of all titles (and volume numbers) you would like to trade-in. Email us (graphicnoveltradingpost@hotmail.com) with your trade-in list and we will respond, normally within 48 hours, with final approval/acceptance. Also let us know if you are shipping the books or bringing them to our store, Pulp Fiction, for trade-in.

If you are shipping books to us continue below to Shipping. You can also bring books to our store, Pulp Fiction in Long Beach, California, and trade them in-person. You will be given store credit which can be used on any new graphic novels, manga and anime in the store at any time
Please note: trade-in store credit cannot be combined with any in-store coupons, specials or discounts.

Shipping

You want the books you are sending us to arrive at Pulp Fiction in the same condition you ship them out in. With this in mind:

1. Pack the books you are shipping securely. Use a box (or padded envelope with some kind of cardboard reinforcement). Put some kind of wrapping - bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper around the outside of your book bundle, so books do not move around and have "cushioning" inside the container.
2. Use media mail - this is, by far, the cheapest method available for shipping books. You should be able to mail the books to us for about $3 to $5 per box of books.
3. Note: Media Mail is one of the slower shipping methods available and will take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days to reach us. As we are on the west coast, assume it will take 1-2 weeks for your books to reach us if you are on the east coast.
3. Pulp Fiction will send you an email when we receive your books, letting you know how much store credit you have earned. We will issue you a Gift Certificate in that amount which can be used at any time to purchase any items in our online store.

Please be advised that if you send us books that do not fit the above rules (see “How it works”), you will not receive any credit and you will be responsible for any and all shipping and associated costs to return your books to you.
