Graphic Novel Trading Post

We accept just about any title for trade-in. Generally, we “pay” 40%-50% of cover price for high demand books, with the percentage going down for lower demand books.

IMPORTANT NOTE: we offer store credit only for your books – we do not give you cash! This store credit can be used at any time on any products at our webstore (CheapGraphicNovels.com) or at Pulp Fiction.

Only books in good (like new) condition will be accepted for trade-in. By “like new” condition we mean no tears, major creases, scratches, marks or stains on the covers or insides.

If you are interested in trading in your graphic novels or manga you can either: (1) bring your books to Pulp Fiction if you are in Southern California or (2) make a list of your books, including volume numbers and cover price, and email us at pulpfictiononline@hotmail.com - we will respond, normally within 48 hours, with our offer for your books. If you wish to accept our offer you just need to ship them (see Shipping below) within thirty days of our offer.

Shipping

You want the books you are sending us to arrive at Pulp Fiction in the same condition you ship them out in. With this in mind:

1. Pack the books you are shipping securely. Use a box (or padded envelope with some kind of cardboard reinforcement). Put some kind of wrapping - bubble wrap or crumpled newspaper around the outside of your book bundle, so books do not move around and have "cushioning" inside the container. Important: Be sure to include a sheet of paper with your books that has your name, address, email address and list of books you are shipping on it.
2. Use media mail - this is, by far, the cheapest method available for shipping books. You should be able to mail the books to us for around $5 in most cases.
3. Note: Media Mail is one of the slower shipping methods available and will take anywhere from 2 to 8 business days to reach us. As we are on the west coast, assume it will take 1-2 weeks for your books to reach us if you are on the east coast.
3. Pulp Fiction will send you an email when we receive your books, letting you know we have safely received your books and total "store credit" you have.

Please be advised that if you send us books that do not fit the above rules (specifically condition), you will not receive any credit and you will be responsible for any and all shipping and associated costs to return your books to you.
